Every one has a style, has an identity and has a purpose in life. Most people in society belong in a Genera/Subculture relating to attitudes, lifestyles, likes and musical tastes of such styles of music from Rock, Heavy Metal, Alternative, Jazz, Contemporary, Rap to Techno and so on. LIFE IS ALL ABOUT CHOICES. The Skull Man made the choice of getting into Rock and Metal Music at the beginning of High School. The Skull Man has been going to concerts and into Mosh Pits ever since he was a little Skull Man. The culture and fans that go into Mosh Pits range from Punks - Rockers - Death Metalers - Goths - Industrial people - Hardcore people - Goofs. Most of the time you will find friendly folks in Mosh Pits that are fans just like you and me showing there passion for the music we hear.
Every Culture and Sub Culture has it's people with bad or rotten attitudes towards others and society, this is found out when coming into contact with these people and finding out there attitude, values, actions and there beliefs towards others, society and themselves. When you find that out about that person then you can draw your own judgment on that person but do not condemn them all that look like that person. People may dress similar but all people have different personalities and value different things. Things may make sense to some people but not to others.
Music is linked to personality in the ways people talk and live part of their lives. The more intense the music is the more intense the energy is in the Mosh Pits. Heavy music has been proven to enhance mood, productivity and performance. One thing to keep in mind is that some people go traitor from their culture. Example some people start off as a Rocker but then get into different types of music, start to talk differently, think differently and dress differently because they think it is the cool hip thing to do. I ask you this, what are the reasons you listen to what you listen to? Why do you dress the way you dress? And why do people act the way they act relating to their music? The reason I listen to Rock, Metal and all my Heavy Music is because it makes me feel alive, it makes me feel good, it motivates me and inspires me. I dress the way I do because I am proud to support and show the bands that I am loyal to. The way I act is civilized and respectful compared to certain types of other people who listen to different types of music that are about disrespect to others and society. Below is a break down of the types of people into Heavy Music and that go into Mosh Pits. Some people can be put into more then one category.

THE ROCKER

The Rocker is a very interesting species. Spawned from the root of Heavy Metal music, bands they like: Metallica, Pantera, Crowbar, Sepultura, Clutch, Danzig and most bands Heavy Duty. Clothing worn are usually high top sneakers, docs, track pants, jeans, cargos, army pants, metal shirts, leather and jean jackets, studs and spikes. They may or may not have a mullet. THE THRASHER

 Very similar to the Rocker. Spawned in the mid 80's by Thrash Metal, Bands they like: Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Megadeath. Clothing worn, jean and leather jackets pants cargos, jeans, high top or construction shoes. The Thrasher is usually a party animal, that likes to drink and be loud at times.
THE DEATH METALER

Spawned by what is considered the Heaviest music around in the late 8o's. Bands they like: Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Cryptopsy. Clothing worn: black band shirts, black clothing, spikes, studs, leather jackets and painted faces at times. THE BLACK METALIST or BLACK METALER

Spawned sometime around the early to mid-90s, although Black Metal as a genre was experimentally kicking around as early as 1980-83.   The Black Metal listener/fan enjoys bands like:   Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Mayhem, Immortal, Darkthrone, Gorgoroth, Burzum, Impaled Nazarene, Marduk, Dimmu Borgir, Profanatica, among many others.   Image and attire is staunchly regulated with the music to a half-medieval, half-military look, ranging with leather gauntlets on the arms and greaves on the legs with spikes and studs, bullet belts, leather jackets & leather belts. THE GOTH

Spawned roughly around the mid 1980's. Bands they like: Type O Negative, Sisters Of Mersey, Danzig, Bah house, Marylin Manson. They usually wear black clothing, Dog Collars, studs and tend to have pale sad faces some are into the Vampire persona. They like to keep to themselves and like to be beautiful and ugly at the same time.

 

METAL LADIES

Spawned in the late 70's the METAL WOMAN has always been a rare species. Bands they like: Black Sabbath, White Zombie, Tool, Opeth, Clutch, Pantera depending on the lady. Clothing worn is usually ripped stockings, black mascara, metal studded bracelets and tattoos. Personality is usually friendly and are passionate about there music. HARDCORE PEOPLE

Spawned in the early 80's. Bands they like: Hatebreed, Biohazard, Sick Of it all, Crow Mags, Madball, Candiria, Earth Crisis. Clothing worn, baggy cloths, pant shorts, tank tops and hats worn side ways at times. They are usually a friendly, tough, political breed of humans at times.

 
THE PUNK

The Punk was spawned in the mid 70's by punk music and movement in LA. Bands they like: Sex Pistols, Rancid, Green day. Clothing worn is usually ripped pants and shirts, safety pins, chains, studded arm bands, army boots or docs, they may have a mohawk or painted hair. Punks like to party and tend to have a large unity with each other. You will see punks in all kinds of mosh pits at shows.
NEW METAL PEOPLE

Spawned in the mid 90's by Hybrid Rock / Rap / hip hop / Punk Pop is what a lot of people think is the IN thing to be into these days. Bands they like: Limp Bizkit, Linken Park, Crazy Town, Sum41. You will know the new metal person by his or her crooked hat, Painted hair and arm bands. They like to run around and and be silly at times and go with what is popular.
THE GRUNGER

Spawned in Seattle in the early 1990's. Bands they like: Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots. They sometimes have Dirty Hair, wear Dirty grungy clothing, flannel, gas attendant wear and Army Cir plus. Mentality is easy going, political and peaceful. These types of people are almost extinct. THE STONER

Spawned from the beginning of time. Bands they like: The Doors, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Monster Magnet, Kyuas, Clutch. They usually wear a lot of weed or rock shirts. They are usually a very peaceful species of human.
OLD SCHOOL ROCKER

Spawned in the early 1970's by Old School Rock and Metal. Bands they like; Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors. Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater, Steppenwolf. Most of these Old School rockers are the original Rockers. These people know there shit and are NOT IMPRESSED by new rap metal. True Old School Rockers do not let there kids listen to Rap.
